STATUTORY AUDIT REPORT of
SHRI BHAIRAVNATH MULTI-STATE CO-OP. CREDIT SOCIETY LTD. PHALTAN
DIST SATARA, MAHARASHTRA
The financial year 2023-2024
We have audited the attached Balance Sheet of Shri Bhairavanath Multi-State Co-operative Credit Society Ltd as at 31st March 2024 and the Income & Expenditure Account for the year ended on that date. These financial statements are the responsibility of the Societes management. Our responsibility is to express an opinion on these financial statements based on our audit.
We have conducted our audit in accordance with the Auditing Standards generally accepted in India. Those standards require that we plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements are free of material misstatements. An audit includes examining on test basis, evidence supporting the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements. An audit also includes assessing the accounting principles used and significant estimates made by management, as well as evaluating the overall financial statement presentation. We believe that our audit provides a reasonable basis for our opinion.
On the basis of audit procedure indicated above, we report that :-
1) We have obtained all the information and explanations, which to the best of our knowledge and belief were necessary for the purpose of our Audit.
2) In our opinion, proper books of accounts as required by law have been kept by the Society so far as appears from our examination of those books.
3) The transactions of the Society, which have come to our notice, have been within the competence of the Society.
4) The Balance Sheet and Income & Expenditure Account dealt with by this report are in agreement with the books of accounts and are drawn up in conformity with the law.
5) In our opinion and according to the best of our information and according to the explanations given to us & give all the information required by The Multi-State Co- operative Societies Act, 2002 and Rules. The Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act,2002 made there under, in the manner so required, and in conformity with the accounting principles generally accepted in India, give a true and fair view subject to Audit Report Part A, B & General remark :-
In the case of the Balance Sheet of the state of affairs of the Society as at 31st March 2023 and,
In the case of the Income & Expenditure Account of the Surplus of the Society for the year ended 31st March 2024.
6) Society has been awarded "A" Audit classification for the year 2023-2024.
